Having completed some of my midwifery training in the Comox Valley, I am excited for the opportunity to return to Cedar House Midwives and support their amazing team. My passion for midwifery grew while completing my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Guelph. I was drawn to midwifery as it provided an opportunity for me to combine my scientific background with my passion for life and intuitive desire to help and work with others. Having grown up in rural Ontario, I left to complete my training in Vancouver with the UBC program.

I have spent the majority of my midwifery career working in Vancouver and across Vancouver Island. I have also had the pleasure of working in Haida Gwaii and Uganda. I am committed to the midwifery philosophy of care and prioritize informed client, family-centered care, and evidence-based practice. I look forward to working with you throughout the transformative events of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

In my spare time, I enjoy re-creating my grandmother’s recipes, spending time on the water and exploring beautiful British Columbia!
