Welcome! I am excited to be a part of the team at Cedar House Birthing Collective. My hope is that together we can build a safe and supportive community for all families during a unique and special time in their lives.  

 

I completed my medical training at the University of British Columbia and became a Family Physician. I love providing full-service family practice.  I am grateful every day for the privilege of being able to provide support and knowledge to individuals and to share their health journey.  My passion, however, is delivering babies!

 

Since completing residency, I have been traveling to communities across BC and the NWT providing obstetrical care. I quickly fell in love with the Comox Valley, and it became my home base three years ago.

 

Some of my other interests include Integrative Medicine – lets chat about how sleep, movement, and the foods we eat affect our bodies. I am also a member of the Canadian Physicians for the Environment and am excited to be advocating for a healthier environment. 

 

When I am not working, my happy place is the outdoors. I love running, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. I have a goofy golden retriever named Rocky who keeps me happy and sane.
